William C. Love is civil litigator, focusing his practice on agricultural, business and commercial law, real estate, farm leases, estate contestations, agricultural tech, privacy issues, and nuisance law.
Mr. Love received his dual Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Religion from Northwestern University in 2001. During this time, he worked on the national presidential campaign for George W. Bush, and was part of the editorial and investigative staff for the Northwestern Journal of International Affairs. Mr. Love received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University of Chicago, where he helped write Representing Corporate Officers and Directors , as well as Justice Requires Access to the Law among other works.
Mr. Love has spent ten years practicing law in Chicago, Illinois as a partner in the law firm of Love & Yeggy. There he represented consumers concerned about fraud and corruption, small business owners expanding their businesses, landowners in conflict with neighbors, and tech firms/manufacturers with $60 to $70 million dollars in sales across the state of Illinois. He brings a deep practical knowledge of modern contracting methods and business law to his litigation practice.
He is an Illinois Facilitative Mediator, Certified by the Center for Conflict Resolution, and a VC Board Member and Secretary for the Center for Conflict Resolution.
He is a regular Judge for the American Bar Association – Appellate Advocacy National Finals Competition, the Law Student Division Arbitration Competition, and the Negotiations Competition; the CBA – Moot Court Competition; and the International Academy of Dispute Resolution – International Law School Mediation Tournament.
Mr Love is admitted to practice law in Illinois, and is a member of ABA, Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and International Association of Privacy Professionals. He has been interviewed by the ABA for articles like “Flight Simulators” for Future Litigators.
Mr. Love has family ties to Herrick, IL, and enjoys small town life. He resides in Effingham, IL with his lovely wife and two adorable little boys, and spends his free time on the family farm and in nature.
