Parker L. Seely

Parker L. Seely concentrates his practice in estate administration, trust administration, estate planning, Probate, and Wills and Trusts.  

Mr. Seely began working for Law Group Ltd. in July 2026 after working as in-house counsel for nearly 3 years for an international corporation based in Madison County, Illinois, at which he reviewed and negotiated contracts and provided other legal guidance and services.  Prior to his role in-house, he worked as an associate attorney at a small general practice law firm in Perry County, Illinois, primarily practicing estate planning and real estate law.  While at that firm, Mr. Seely was a Fellow in the Illinois State Bar Association’s (ISBA) Rural Practice Fellowship.  Mr. Seely was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November 2021.

Mr. Seely was born in June 1996 and grew up in Lebanon, Illinois.  Parker Seely graduated magna cum laude from McKendree University in December 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy and dual minors in political science and ethnic studies.  He later received his Juris Doctorate degree in May 2021 from St. Louis University School of Law, graduating cum laude in the top 20% of his class.  While in law school, Parker was an Editor for the St. Louis University Law Journal from Fall 2020 to Spring 2021.

Mr. Seely currently resides in Effingham and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Effingham County Bar Association, and Fayette County Bar Association.  In his free time, Parker Seely serves as a Board member at his church, the Garden Chapel Sanctuary, and performs as a musician.
